HOW TO INSTALL
1. Unzip this file.  
2. Copy the brush files (those ending in .gih) to your GIMP brushes directory. 
(Typically: <GIMP install directory>/share/gimp/2.0/brushes)
3. Open GIMP and open your "Brushes" dialog.  If GIMP was already open, refresh your brushes.


HOW TO USE
1. Once your brushes dialog is updated, select the pencil tool then select a hex icon.
2. Draw the hex where you want it placed.  You may need to undo and place it again so the hex is placed 
accurately (with a one pixel border for each edge of the hex.
3. Select a new hex type if desired. Draw another hex where you want the next one. Try to line up the 
hexes so their borders touch but do not overlap.  Keep the undo key shortcut (ctrl-Z) handy.
4. Repeat this process until you have the terrain you desire.
5. Draw rivers, borders, roads, and trails with the standard GIMP tools.  Add text labels as necessary
You may wish to draw these features on separate layers for easier editing.
