Help Me Design My GenCon Swag
First of all, Inkwell Ideas will have a booth at GenCon in the Entrepreneur’s Avenue area! As you’d expect, we’ll have Hexographer, Dungeonographer and the Coat of Arms Design Studio for sale.  And we’ll be running demos of each. We also are *hoping* the DungeonMorph Dice are ready by then, but that’s a little [...]

DungeonMorph Font Sample Now Available
I’ve finished a sample font file of DungeonMorphs. This covers two dice’s designs, including rotating them 90, 180, and 270 degrees; flipping them; and rotating and flipping. So each design has 8 permutations. 2 dice x 6 sided x 8 permutations = 96 designs. The file below is a symbol TTF font. I’m not an [...]

[PF, 3.5] Not Just Humans Can Mix with Elves and Orcs
While playing Munchkin a couple of weeks ago, a player got a “half-breed” card which lets him combine any two races. Then it hit me: why does D&D (and Pathfinder, etc.) only list half-elf and half-orc as possible half-breeds? Why not half-dwarf, or for that matter halfling-elf or gnome-orc? Well, I guess the reasons are [...]

DungeonMorph Dice Dungeon Set 1 Designs
As mentioned a few days ago, while the designs have been final for a couple of weeks, they weren’t yet in an easy to post format due to the file format, size and line thicknesses required. However, I do need to convert them into an easier to view format for the creation of the card [...]

(D&D Any) Simple Hit Location Subsystem?
First, I’m throwing “(D&D Any)” to the front of this post’s title so people can easily see where it applies. I think something like that (borrowed from several message boards) is helpful sometimes. A couple of days ago I had an interesting idea (I hope) regarding hit points. I’m sure there are similar subsystems out [...]

DungeonMorph Dice PDF Preview
Another task related to the DungeonMorph Dice project is to get the process/format correct to create the battlemat PDFs based on those same designs. Linked from this post is one design. I’m creating the designs in my Dungeonographer software program, which has a free version, and I’m posting the raw .dgo file so you can [...]

Some DungeonMorph Dice Final Designs
Not all the designs can be posted yet. (Although some non-final designs were already posted to the DungeonMorph Kickstarter Updates page.) I’ve got to massage them into the right format. Right now, they are all in a set of very large SVG files with very thin lines. That format makes them hard to read/discern, but [...]
