Has your party ever found its way to a library, scholar’s office or wizard’s study and you needed some book titles fast?  Here are some charts to help you out!  Just roll a d6 (1-2=1, 3-4=2, 5-6=3) and a few d12s.

  1. An obvious subset for the books about war would be books about battles, perhaps:

    The battle of {place}
    {Place}
    Holding {place}, an analysis.
    {Person}’s choice, the assault on {place}.

    and so on. A set of tables for people and places would be useful in general and along with country names could be split off from the specific types of titles, (e.g. Table 2 would say to roll twice on Table N1: Nations).
