7 Free Inn/Tavern Battlemats

As I was creating the Creature and Encounter Card Decks (coming soon!) I created a slew of new maps using Dungeonographer (and some others with Hexographer too.)  7 of the new Dungeonographer maps were tavern or inn floorplans.  As I created them I knew I had to blow them up to 300 dpi, use a 1″/square scale and stick them into a PDF for GMs to download and print.  The maps are typically about 10″x10″, so I’ve split each one onto two pages to make them easier to print.

A bit about the upcoming cards:  The Encounter Decks and the “system neutral” Creature Decks should get to me a few days before GenCon (fingers crossed) and I’ll be sending backers their rewards at that point.  There are two Encounter Decks (the part of the project these are from) of 56 cards each.  Each card has an encounter outline (think of “Mad Libs” meets the Book of Lairs), a map, a trap idea, a plot twist and a trivial treasure.  You draw separate cards for each item you need–you aren’t locked into using a particular map, twist, outline, etc. that is on the same card.  And feel free to draw more cards if the first draw(s) don’t make sense.

As long at the printing company does their part, we’ll have the cards at GenCon booth #449.  There is also a coupon in the coupon book to get a free mini-pack of 8-10 cards or a discount.

And now I’ll go back to working on more parts of the project…
