Matt Jackson’s DIY Wooden Rune Tokens

Matt Jackson created these very cool looking wooden rune tokens.  Basically cut a thick branch into discs, then use a woodburner to draw runes on them.  Here is his link with full details.

I vaguely remember burning designs on wood in 7th grade wood shop class.  But we just heated an awl, if I recall correctly.  But the woodburner makes it faster and probably more even.
