These cards contain quests inspired by Indiana Jones, Tomb Raider, The Da Vinci Code, King Solomon’s Mines, and many more. Use the cards to fill out a campaign, populate a hex crawl, or inspire one-shots.
Each card is a mini-adventure. One side is an outline which starts with some background game master information then a couple ways to begin the quest. Next are several key encounter ideas (use some or all of them or modify them, based on your party’s actions), and finally a follow-up idea or two. The other side of the card is the main map for the adventure. Need more maps for other encounters? Fan through the cards and you’re sure to find something that fits the situation.
Most of the ideas behind these adventures are based on real world lost artifacts & historical mysteries such as Atlantis, the missing Confederate Gold, the Dead Sea Scrolls, the Devil’s Bible, El Dorado, Genghis Khan’s Tomb, etc. Two cards list 25 bonus mysteries.
While some quests must take place before or after a specific date, most can be set anywhere in the first half of the 20th century. Many can even be set in medieval times, or an artifact may still be missing in the far future.
