Magic Item Shop Random Inventory Generator Moved & Improved

Several months back I put together a Javascript based Magic Item Shop Random Inventory Generator (for Fantasy OGL) because I hadn’t seen anything exactly like that and I thought it would be useful. As I moved on to other projects there were a few improvements that I didn’t get to and due to some changes to the website/Wordpress software it broke.
But now it is back and better than ever! It was also moved to avoid conflicts with the WordPress software: http://www.inkwellideas.com/roleplaying_tools/magic_item_shop/
You can still set the number of minor, medium, and major potions, scrolls, rings, wands, staffs, rods, wondrous items, weapons and armor. But to make that easier you now can choose a shop size and it will pre-fill values for each of those settings which you can optionally update then submit.
Also two bugs were fixed:
- In a few cases I had a weird character for an apostrophe, so for example a scroll of “Cat’s Grace” would get a funny character in the name. That shouldn’t happen any more.
- Sometimes a weapon or armor with multiple special abilities would get one of those abilities duplicated. This can still happen (the way it is coded makes it hard to eliminate the problem completely) but it should be much rarer.

Thanx, thanx, thanx.
This is exactly what I was searching for for my ultra high magic campaign, and the things that can be bought at the magic shops. : )
Oh, and it’s “Ranseur” and not “Ranswur”… ;D
Thanks for the correction. I’ve fixed it.
Is there a download for this somewhere? The hobby store we play at doesn’t have internet that we can access.
Sorry… it runs online only. You could generate a few ahead of time and print them out and choose which is best depending on the situation.
