There are a bunch of pretty big/cool things announced in the past few days, therefore, here is a roundup style post:

• Bruce Heard’s World of Calidar Kickstarter goes live!  If you’re reading this blog you probably know Bruce was the editor of many Mystara TSR products as well as the writer for the Dragon Magazine “Voyage of the Princess Ark” series.
• Snarfquest: Snarf’s New Adventure is a Kickstarter by Larry Elmore.  This week I received my Larry Elmore art book from his prior Kickstarter.
• Sticking with Kickstarter, the Knights of the Dinner Table Kickstarter was also announced.
• Only a few days left to download the D&D “Next” Playtest documents.  If you think you’ll want to try the system out between now and GenCon, get the files now!
• Paizo’s RPG Superstar competition launches… first round entries (design a wondrous item) due January 1, 2014.
• This news isn’t tabletop RPGs, but of interest to RPG players anyway: Classic Fallout Computer RPGs are free for 48 hours from GOG.
