Worthy Kickstarters to Consider

A couple of Kickstarters that I feel are worthwhile are in their funding stage.  Please give them a look:

  • Arcane Synthesis – A “blended cross-genre anthology”  of 7 stories set in the Cosmothea universe. It comes from Bob Whitely, who was a very helpful supporter of some of my stock art related Kickstarters.  It features the art of Jason Rainville, who was one of the artists from the first art Kickstarter I did.  Jason was definitely one of the universal favorites from that project.  He has many other great collaborators, but perhaps the most recognized is Ed Greenwood as a stretch goal.
  • World of Calidar – I’ve posted about this before, but it is now in its final couple of days.  Calidar is a new game setting by Bruce Heard, editor of D&D/Mystara through the mid/late 80s and into the 90s.  He also wrote the “Voyage of the Princess Ark” series in Dragon.  It is funded and has met a few stretch goals, so double-check your pledge level to make sure you’ve picked the level with the extras you want.
  • An Illustrated Bestiary of Fantastic Creatures – It is no secret that I love monster books and at $16 for the book shipped, let’s see what Casey Sorrow comes up with!
