More Roman Themed City Icons Coming Through Patreon
Here is another preview for August’s Patreon icons. If you’re not familiar with Patreon, it is something like an opt-in monthly subscription. This month’s theme continues our July theme of ancient Rome. (But as you can see many apply to medieval/fantasy settings!) This post has the Cityographer map icons by artist/cartographer Keith Curtis, which features a circus (in the classic definition), a beautiful palace, forum area, mansion, and more!
Furthermore, we’re going to give license keys for the upcoming new city/town/village mapping functionality being added to Worldographer for all of our Patreon backers when ready. We don’t have a firm ETA on the release of that functionality… it won’t be this week, but it will be before 2019. All Patreon backers at the time that we release the city mapping update to Worldographer will get a key. You will need to already have a Worldographer key, however the new functionality which mimics Cityographer (but better: easier to configure, upgraded UI, more options) will not require any extra payment for Patreon backers.
Each month we’ll have 4 map icon sets: isometric map icons (good for Worldographer, but usable in Hexographer 1 as well); more flat/classic & 1e style icons for Worldographer or Hexographer; more dungeon and building interior graphics perfect for Dungeonographer; and more city/village building icons designed for Cityographer. All the graphics will be transparent PNGs, so they should be usable in other map & image editors as well.
We post preview thumbnails of each set, and make a single paid post through Patreon near the end of the month with the actual graphics.
