Worldographer Dungeon/Battlemat Functionality Released
The new battlemat map-making (dungeons, buildings, etc.) functionality in Worldographer is now complete! Users can now make battlemats with the same user interface as world/kingdom maps and city/village maps. Even better, they can all be opened and edited in the same application window via separate tabs for each map. The new feature includes all of the floor styles, furniture, and other features of Dungeonographer. It also imports Dungeonographer maps. A number of generators are included to let you quickly generate a store, tavern, house, etc., and the resulting maps are fully editable.
In addition to making dungeons, building floorplans, and other battlemats, Worldographer now lets you import a set of map geomorphs randomly into a map. This feature essentially allows you to make a random dungeon made up of a number of map sections. (This works best if each mini-map is the same size and has corridors positioned on each side so each map section can join together.)
We’ve created a video that quickly goes over the new features. Download version 1.140 (or later) of Worldographer to get the new features.
