New NPC Portraits Decks 18 Card Preview

Our NPC Portraits Decks are a consistent best seller.  Each card has an interesting portrait on the front and useful system neutral personality & background info filled with plot hooks/ideas on the back. Together with writer Andrew Shields, we’ve wanted to revisit them for a while.  Now we’re about to launch a new Kickstarter in the next couple of weeks for at least three new decks: Adventurers, Coastal Townsfolk, and Henchmen & Hirelings.

We’ve made a preview PDF of 18 cards from the decks to give you a taste of what to expect.  In addition to honing the concept, it should be obvious we’ve really increased the art quality! We’ve also attempted to be as diverse as possible, within the confines of a 54 card deck.  So each deck has a nearly even mix of men & women. While each deck is about 1/3 human, we still have over 30 cards to split between dwarves, elves, gnomes, halflings, half-elves, half-orcs, and even a couple of dragonborn and tieflings.

We plan on having stretch goals to add a deck of familiars/pets/beasts of burden as well as a deck of mining/frontier townsfolk.
