Goblinoid Battlemat, Settlement and Classic World Kingdom Map Icon Previews
Inkwell Ideas runs a Patreon (sort of an opt-in subscription) for new map icons each month. Each month we make four map icon sets (an isometric world/kingdom set–seen below (previewed a week ago), a classic world/kingdom icon set, a battlemat set, and a settlement set of mostly top-down buildings) with a theme voted on by our supporters. This month’s theme is Goblinoids!
Support us for as little as $3/month and get 100+ icons each month as well as support new features added to Worldographer. While we make them for Worldographer, most map/image editors that work with PNG images should accept them.

As with the Isometric World/Kingdom icons preview, this set is mostly hobgoblin locations as they’re more likely to build structures, but we’ve got a few goblin locations and a bugbear den and totem.

Above artist Keith Curtis has developed icons to create a goblinoid encampment. In the upper left are most of our goblin icons: a couple caves, huts, a shrine, birthing pit, etc. We also have a bugbear cave entrance, den, and totem. But the bulk of these icons are hobgoblins as they are typically a little more civilized: barracks, prison, school, smith, trading post, warehouse, mess tent, command center, and several more.

And finally we have a very contrived hobgoblin/goblin camp section designed to show off the bulk of the icons artist/cartographer Keith Curtis has created. We’ve got several specific objects by request–a hut, fields of crops, a birthing pit, huts, catapult, ballista, and a bunch more!
