World of Dragons Patreon Map Icons Previews

Due to our recently completed Kickstarter (with pledging anyway) and real life, we’re behind on previewing our latest Patreon map icons–although we have shared them with patrons there.  Below are all four previews.  Each month we make four map icon sets with a theme voted on by our supporters–this month was World of Dragons. Support us for as little as $3/month and get 100+ icons each month as well as support new features added to Worldographer.

If you’re not able to commit, we also make them available on DriveThruRPG.

World of Dragons: Isometric World/Kingdom
The isometric set has a slew of dragon lairs, three cleric towers, a couple of knightly order’s bases, a Dark Knight’s Keep (and an alternate), Dragon Sorcerer’s Towers, a Dragon Mountain statue, and a bunch more including some devastated terrain & tiles for a red sea.
World of Dragons: Classic World/Kingdom icons
This set is most of the same isometric world/kingdom icons, but in the classic style.
World of Dragons Battlemat Icons
A somewhat contrived example: In the cold, high desert plateau is a dragon-obsessed hermit. He scours the world in his sky-sled searching for artifacts of the dragons which left the world a millennium ago. In his hideout he has reconstructed a giant 5-headed dragon altar as well as two others, plus a forge capable of creating great dragon-spears. He has also collected a couple of giant dragon skulls as well as a complete but smaller dragon skeleton. But the prize of his collection are the seven clutches of dragon eggs. It is even rumored he has made friends with a live dragon that keeps its hoard in the hideout.
World of Dragons Settlement Icons
Another somewhat contrived example map: After the world’s Great Dragon War, the forces agreed to build a compound (sort of a neutral zone) atop a cliff where each faction would have a structure and envoys could meet. Various dragon worshipers (or some would say cults) each have a temple there, sorcerers who study dragon magic have towers there, the two main knightly orders have a keep in the area, other religions keep temples there, and a Great Library was built amidst the groups. A small town has developed in the trees below where visitors can stay as they visit this unique marvel of the world.
