Mosquito Magic Ship Battlemat & Top-Down Tokens

We’re going to do something a little different for our Patreon map icon previews this month… Instead of making just one somewhat contrived example map for each of the map icon styles (top-down settlement, world/kingdom classic, world/kingdom isometric, & battlemat) we’re going to make several example ship battlemats showing off those icons.

We’re doing it this way because this month’s theme is “Magic in Space” and these icons should let you make a pretty wide variety of ships: hammerhead, nautilus, wasp, mosquito, shrike, and more!

Before we get to the samples, let me point out our Patreon posts 100+ new icons each month for backers on the last day of the month.  We’ll have samples using more battlemat icons as well as our world/kingdom classic and isometric icons later this month.

Mosquito
This ship is a small Mosquito with a low forward deck, a main deck and top deck. The new graphics in the set are the wings, hatch, stairs, door, chair, table, bed, and a really cool ballista. The catapult, cooktop, and gear come from prior sets.
Top-down 'settlement' icons
It was the dawn of the 3rd age of mankind… The Deep Space 5 asteroid station was a dream given form. Its mission: To provide a neutral territory for the factions of cosmic space to meet and negotiate in peace. One faction’s ships are inspired by sea creatures, another by insects, and the third has bird-like ships.

*Ahem*, sorry about that… But these turned out really well! Looking for more top-down ship tokens?
