Medieval Revisited Settlement Map Icons Preview

Inkwell Ideas runs a Patreon (sort of an opt-in subscription) for new map icons. Each month there are four map icon subsets (an isometric world/kingdom set, a classic world/kingdom icon set, a battlemat set, and a settlement set of mostly top-down buildings) with a theme voted on by our supporters. This month’s theme is Medieval Revisited.

Below is a preview of the new settlement scale icons.  For this subset, we found a couple of building types we didn’t have medieval versions of in prior sets (like the potter and carpenter) but more importantly we wanted to show a number of 2-story buildings. So there are several icons of shops with apartments above or other stacked houses. We also wanted to do several small simple one room houses.

Support us for as little as $3/month and get 100+ icons each month as well as support new features added to Worldographer. While we make them for Worldographer, most map/image editors that work with PNG images should accept them.
