Ottoman Empire Battlemat Map Icons Preview

As mentioned in our prior couple of Patreon map icon posts, our theme for May is “Ottoman Empire”. This final preview of the month shows all the Battlemat style icons that will be released at the end of the month. For each monthly theme we make 100+ total icons in 4 styles: isometric world/kingdom, classic world/kingdom, settlement, & battlemat based on a theme picked by our patrons.  Support us/get them via Patreon! Our artist/cartographer Keith researched mosques and created all the icons that are essential for a mosque map. Outside of it (to the left) is an ablution fountain and a minaret (which would likely be placed as part of the mosque). The white object in the right wall is the Mirab Niche that points to Mecca. The large stair below that is the Minbar where the Iman delivers the sermon. The other stair in the bottom right or that large room leads to the Kursi where the educational lesson is led. The smaller objects are prayer mats–the ones in the upper left are the women’s area and the more decorated ones in the upper right are the nobles’ area–both divided by screens.

Below that we have a bazaar area, hookah lounge, and a living & dining area.
