Elemental Fire Map Icons Previews

Our theme for our map icon Patreon this month is “Elemental Fire”. This preview of the month shows two previews with all the icons that will be released at the end of the month. (Today!)

Normally, for each monthly theme we make 100+ total icons in 4 styles: isometric world/kingdom, classic world/kingdom, settlement, & battlemat based on a theme picked by our patrons.  Support us/get them via Patreon! (On the last day of the month we make a pinned post to get the icons via DriveThruRPG at no extra cost.) But this month because we feel that we can get 200+ icons in these four styles we’re splitting it into two months.  This month has the isometric world/kingdom icons and the battlemat icons.

Above is a fairly contrived sample of most of the battlemat icons (there are some fire & smoke icons not shown here) artist/cartographer Keith Curtis has created. This subset is broken down into “Brass” and “Basalt” versions of most of the icons: tables, desks, stairs, altars, daises, beds, and more. The image shows an altar area, office, and two bedrooms in both styles plus a forge, smelter, kiln, fireplace, portal, and fountain in a workshop area in the middle. For the workshop area, we only had room for one set, but all of them have brass & basalt versions.

And for our isometric world/kingdom icons, we’ve got several new terrain types (fire plains, burning forest, burnt forests, ash deserts, lava fields; plus several points of interest that are labeled such as the brass & basalt city & fortress, ash rain, fire storm, and burning asteroid.
