Rock & Roar OSR Classic Rock Monsters Bestiary Coming Soon!

In the next few weeks we’re launching a new Kickstarter project with a gnarly concept:  An old school RPG bestiary where each creature is inspired by a rock song title or band name!

While the focus is on ‘classic rock’, that means something different depending on taste and when you were born.  So we’ll be spanning decades and sub-genres with bands and song titles from the 70s, many in the 80s, and a few from the 90s or later that fit too well to pass up. And while many monster concepts will be pop… progressive, psychedelic, new wave, metal, glam rock, and even a few crossover hits will be the inspiration of some creatures.

There will be two books, each with the same monster concepts and art: one with stats for Shadowdark, and the other for Old School Essentials (OSE).

The Kickstarter preview page has three creatures with Shadowdark stats and three different creatures with OSE stats.
