Magic Item Card Generator for Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition

Creates 9 2.5"x3.5" card fronts and backs on 2 US Letter sized pages.

Instructions

Check the boxes of the magic items you want to appear in the PDF. Then click the "Create PDF" button in the menu bar. One page will have the art for up to 9 items and the next page will have the text for those 9 items. If you select more than 18 items, it will pick the first 18 items (4 total pages) because processing too many pages can take a bit of time.

There are 20-25 cards (besides Scrolls) that don't have text because those items aren't part of the System Reference Document and we aren't licensed to reprint them. But we do have art for a "Cap of Aquatics" (for example) and you can rename it to what you'd like and add the text you want.

You can customize the cards by changing the magic item names, types, rarities and descriptions via the text boxes on each line. Note the syntax for bold, italics, and tables is weird.

You can also make custom items by replacing all the text you want. Just pick a starting item with art similar to your item. Sorry, we don't have an option to import your own art.

To italicize, surround text by `italics` (the reverse apostrophe above on the same key as the ~ for US keyboards).
To bold something, surround text by |bold| (the "pipe" character, on the same key as the \ for US keyboards).
Note: If a pragraph already uses italics, you can't use bold too. :(
To add tables, use ~ (the "tilde" character) to separate columns on a line. There is no word-wrap in table cells, so you'll have to manually do that--estimate how much space there is and bump the extra text to the next line. Also, columns are split equally. You can use extra ~ characters to make some table cells wider. For example, to make the first & third cells double the width of the others:
