Sidequest Decks
Need adventure ideas in a pinch or if you have writer’s/GM’s block? Use our Sidequest Decks. Each card is a dynamic adventure! Get them in our store or DriveThruRPG or Amazon. You can also get a sample Sidequest Deck from our store.
Multiple decks are available based on genre (Fantasy, Science Fiction, Science Fantasy, Modern) and setting. (Fantasy has decks specifically for wilderness/frontier areas, dungeons/caverns/ruins, urban area, or the high seas.)
Draw a card for an adventure outline. The outline includes backstory, ways to get the PCs involved, encounter possibilities, and follow-up ideas. The other side of the card is the most important map for that adventure. Use maps from other cards as needed.
Sidequest Decks are perfect for stocking a hex crawl or developing a side trek on the fly. You may even chain several together for an entire campaign!
We’ve begun making the maps available for use with virtual table tops. Many (especially our newest) were made with our Worldographer software, so you may download those files and edit them as well.
