Names that Resemble Locations in India

These charts help you invent location names that are similar to those found in one part of India.  (India has an official language, Hindi.  English is an “official subsidiary language” and there are also around 20 regional languages.)  For an overview and charts for city names of other cultures, see the main Random (or not) City Name Charts page.

If any seem incorrect when you sound them out, it is easy to re-roll it or swap one syllable for another choice on the chart.
