Magic Item Card Catalog for 5e Now Available!
After a successful Kickstarter last fall, we’ve now made a total of 10 decks of Magic Item cards for the 5th edition of the world’s best known fantasy role-playing game. Each deck features 52 cards plus a checklist and license card. All the magic items in the 5e System Reference Document are in the card decks, plus a few have notes on new variants and a few cards feature art for other items with blank/lined backs so you can write in your own descriptions. One deck contains all new items with new descriptions/game rules.
They can be purchased on our web store (scroll past the 5e Creature Decks) or on DriveThru/RPGNow. In either case, get the PDF or the PDF with a printed deck.
The items are broken down into decks as follows:
- Rings & Potions.
- Rods, Staves, Wands, & Scrolls. (Scrolls have lined backs for you to write in specific spells. Write on top of photo-safe tape placed on the card first to re-use the card.)
- Books, Clothing, & Containers: All the Wondrous Items that fall into these categories.
- Jewelry & Instruments: All the Wondrous Items that fall into these categories.
- Other Wondrous Items: Wondrous Items that don’t fit in the prior two decks.
- Magical Armor & Weapons: one of each type of armor and weapon with lined backs so you can write in what it is specifically. (Is it a long sword +1, or something more detailed.)
- Armors of Note: contains the specific magical armors such as ethereal plate, demon armor, mithral versions of all armor types, etc.
- Weapons of Note: has the specific magical weapons suck as a dagger of venom, longsword luck blade, etc.
- Popular Items: the more popular/typical items from the decks above: Bracers of Defense, extra Potions of Healing, Rope of Climbing, Scrolls, etc.
- Panderlyn’s Curiosities: New items created by Panderlyn the Mage or found on her quests.
