India Themed Region Map Icon Previews

Each month we create a set of 100+ map icons through our Patreon based on a theme our supporters select. This month’s winning theme was “India”. Support us/get them via Patreon! (On the last day of the month we make a pinned post to get the icons via DriveThruRPG at no extra cost.)  It is a bit shocking we haven’t done this historically rich culture as map icons already. Here are the two World/Kingdom (Classic and Isometric) previews:

In both sets, we created the typical capital, city, town, and village icons that we usually create, plus ruined versions of most of them. We also have a shrine, fort and temple which fit the architectural style. Specific icons for this culture in these subsets are:

• Stepwell and a ruined version: Wells/cisterns/ponds with a long series of steps leading down to the water level.
• Ashram: Remote religious community.
• Banyan Tree: Style of tree that spreads outwards.
• Elephant Camp: Camp for elephant hunters.

As usual, we’ll have the icons out to supporters of the Patreon at the end of the month.
