Writober! Tooth! Shadowdark Post-a-Day In October
This month is Drawtober: 31 drawing prompts related to the Shadowdark RPG, 1 a day, throughout October. But I’m borrowing the prompts for short essays. Today’s prompt is “Tooth”.
Various shaman of all types of tribes (human nomads, orc warriors, cave kobolds, wild elves, and so on) are able to conduct a ritual to turn a single tooth from a creature (just one per creature) into a magical amulet for a necklace which can bestow a magical property.
Dragon Tooth: Resistance. Advantage on checks to avoid dragon breath.
Hell Hound Tooth: Impervious (1/day). Immune to fire damage.
Shark Tooth: Brutal (1/day). +1d4 damage for 3 rounds.
Smilodon Tooth: Savage. ADV on attacks against creatures below half their HP.
Snake Tooth: Anti-venom (1/day). A poison attack has no poison effect.
