Our NPC Portraits Decks on the Bundle of Holding!

The excellent Bundle of Holding website has picked our NPC Portraits Decks as their next deal which just launched! You can get all the NPC decks we’ve made to date–13–for just $12.95.

Each deck features over 50 characters, one per card, fitting the theme of that deck. Themes include Science Fiction, Fantasy Adventurers, Animals (Companions/Pets), Desert Townsfolk, Tavern Staff & Patrons, and many more. The front side of each character card is a portrait, the back side is system neutral (a few early decks have one line of D&D ability scores) and describes their personality, background and quirks.And the last few cards of most decks contain bonus idea lists: The castle deck has a card describing jobsin a castle; the tavern deck has a list and short descriptions of pub games.

We’ve attempted to have an excellent mix of characters fitting the deck’s theme: men, women, many different ancestries and ethnicities, character classes, and job roles.

Even better, the personalities and backgrounds are filled with ways to role-play the character (little quirks & mannerisms) and tell the GM how the character may be influenced. GMs should also find it easy to lift story hooks from each character’s background or customize them to fit their campaign.
