Writober! Drow! Shadowdark Post-a-Day In October
This month is Drawtober: 31 drawing prompts related to the Shadowdark RPG, 1 a day, throughout October. But I’m borrowing the prompts for short essays. Today’s prompt is “Drow”.
There is a large amount of lore related to Drow in Dungeons & Dragons related fantasy. Shadowdark’s core rules includes a drow warrior and priestess as well as a drider. But there isn’t a more trained/elite/catpain warrior in the book. So here is one:
AC 17 (mithral chainmail), HP 29, ATK 2 poison dart (near) +5 (1d4 + poison) or 2 longsword +5 (1d8), MV near, S +1, D +4, C +2, I +1, W +1, Ch +1, AL C, LV 6
Ambush. Deal an extra die of damage when undetected.
Poison. DC 15 CON or sleep.
Sunblind. Blinded in bright light
